How much does it cost to transfer money to Japan?
At FXellence, we believe pricing should be clear, transparent and fair.
Standard (non-priority) payment fees are from as little as £1. Priority payment fees are from £10, or the foreign currency equivalent for each payment.
We will apply a small 'mark-up' to the mid-market rate. This mark-up can vary by currency, market conditions and payment amount. It will usually be between 0.5% and 1%
High street banks will typically charge up to £25 as a fee and add a mark-up of 2.5 to 3%
How long will it take to transfer money to Japan?
Same Day
Same Day means exactly that, if you make a payment today, your recipient will receive the funds in their account today.
Next Day
Next Day payments will arrive in your recipient’s bank account on the next working day.
Typically, most payments to Japan can be sent the next day. This is subject to banking cut-off times.
Spot
Spot is the term used to describe the day after Next Day, so in 3 working days' time, including today.
